ধরি, বৃত্তের ব্যাস = x
∴ বৃত্তের ব্যাসার্ধ = x/2
∴ old ক্ষেত্রফল = (x/2)² π = (π × x²)/8
এখন ব্যাস ৪ গুণ করা হলে ব্যাস হবে ৪x
∴ ব্যাসার্ধ = ৪x/2
∴ New ক্ষেত্রফল
= π × ( ৪x/2)² = (π × 16x²)/8 = ১৬ × (π × x²/8)
∴ অর্থাৎ ক্ষেত্রফল বাড়ে ১৬ গুণ।
